Storey's the Building
Affordable and Supportive Housing
The Storeys Building is a Canadian First at 8080 Anderson and 8111 Granville. This beautiful project was developed through a historic partnership between 5 nonprofits: Coast Mental Health, Pathways Clubhouse, SUCCESS, Tikva Housing, and Turning Point Housing Society. Brenda Plant, Executive Director of Turning Point, spearheaded the consortium, which embarked on this pioneering development project in 2009. Funding was provided by the partners as well as CMHC, City of Richmond, BC Housing, the provincial and federal governments.
Turning Point Recovery Society
Turning Point Recovery Society has been a leader in Residential Support Recovery in BC for over 35 years. We have been operating in Richmond since 1991. Today we provide Outreach services through our OARS Program, and Drop In Centre, Primary Residential Recovery at our Men’s and Women’s Houses, 2nd Stage Aftercare and Affordable Housing at Storeys, as well as employment readiness training through Storeys Café.
