Thousands of people participated in the 73rd Salmon Festival Parade in Richmond on Sunday to celebrate the Canada Day.
Storey's Cafe and our tribe of 30 "chefs" adorned their aprons and hats to celebrate Canada's 151st birthday. With musical instruments, noisemakers and utensils at our disposal, we cheerfully marched down Moncton Avenue entertaining parade goers.
This was our inaugural appearance in the Canada Day parade, or in any parade for that matter. However, we definitely caught the bug. Plans for next year's celebrations are already rolling around in our imaginations.
